If you'd rather not install as a mod, the workaround can be activated by simply using the console command (without quotes): "Setstage BoS100Fight 1" If the bug isn't present in your playthrough, the quest will continue and the mod won't do anything.

Then it adds a blank "Hello" to the quest with a script fragment that activates Bethesda's built-in workaround to the issue when you try to talk to Danse outside of combat. All this mod does is change the Danse's "Hello" topic info for the quest ("Check your fire we've got hostiles!") to only activate when the player is in combat.

That said, it turns out that Bethesda already had a safe workaround for this issue in Creation Kit, so they must be aware of the problem and working on it. From what I've heard, they also work just fine. Most of the other workarounds out there either rely on specific dialogue options later in the game or directly forcing the quest to the stage where Danse doesn't use those lines any more. People seem to think the issue is caused by either waiting too long to do the quest or letting the scribe get knocked down during the fight. I haven seen any yo fix that. This mod automatically bypasses the Fire Support bug that happens when you kill all the enemies at the Cambridge Police Station, but then Danse and the other BoS respond to you like they're still in combat. Some glitches that I have seen and haven't seen any mods for is where you log into your game and all the puddles are rainbow or oil looking. Just go inside and do the quest on your own and it should work fine afterwards More bugs I know is when arriving to arcjet paladin danse will leave. To activate this mod you go to the parking lot in front of the Cambridge police station and there a giant abrox box click on it. The mod BoS100 bug fix mod can fix that, though if you play on PC you can use console commands to fix it. The fire support quest glitch is where even after killing all the ghouls, paladin danse still acts like there's more. This has to go below any character re texture mods for it to work properly

This can be caused by body and face mods such as cbbeĪ mod to fix this is called face glitch a fix. The first bug is where your face and just a section of it is a dark skin tone and barely has the features you added to your character. Two common bugs I know is the face glitch and the fire support quest.
